First Photo!

Today I had my first ultrasound and I am proud to announce that baby is a boy! Thank you L-rd!

The technology we have today is so amazing. Being able to see the various parts of the baby's body closeup was quite an experience. When I think about it, my biggest clue of the sex of the baby was the fact that I had the hardest time coming up with a girl's name. But my husband and I knew for awhile what we would name the baby if it was a boy. So I am not really all that surprised. If you are wondering what that name will be you will have to wait. John and I decided to wait until the baby is blessed/dedicated before making a public announcement of his name. This is a Hebrew tradition, which we are still learning about. However, what I do know is that is has to do with honoring our Creator and acknowledging that the miracle of birth comes from G-d and G-d alone. 

So there ya go. What an exciting time for John and I. And I now know what kind of items to place on my baby registry. :D
